On March 29, 2023, on the joint initiative of the Embassy of Tajikistan to Germany and the Honorary Consulate of Tajikistan in the federal states of Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein, International Navruz Holiday was celebrated.

The festive event was attended by heads of relevant government agencies, heads of the diplomatic corps in Hamburg, compatriots and representatives of countries celebrating Navruz.

Stressing the international status of the Navruz holiday, the Ambassador of Tajikistan to Germany Imomuddin Sattorov drew the attention of the guests to the event titled “Water and Navruz – two sources of human life” with the participation of the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon at the Headquarters of the United Nations in New York, which was held on March 21 of this year within the framework of the United Nations Water Conference – 2023 and was followed by a festive concert program of Tajik artists.

Also, a musical group from Hamburg, together with Tajik artists, excited the audience with their charming songs and dances.
